Maryland Spring Football Game and Athletic Events!
Catch the excitement of Maryland Football as Coach Friedgen and the Terps host the annual Red/White Spring Game on Maryland Day: April 26, 2008. Don’t miss your chance to get autographs from the coaches and your favorite players, experience the Pepsi Fan Zone, and listen to the Mighty Sound of Maryland—you can’t beat Maryland Football at Chevy Chase Bank Field! The Spring Game is a free event and new for 2008 will be a variety of exciting activities leading up to the game!

10 a.m. – 11 a.m. NEW! Train Like The Terps – a presentation by our strength & conditioning and athletic training staffs on healthy eating and Terp-inspired workouts (Glazer Auditorium, Gossett Football Team House)

12 p.m. – 1 p.m. NEW! Men’s and Women’s Soccer Skills and Drills Session – featuring select coaches and players (Varsity Practice Field)

12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Maryland Men’s Basketball Autograph Session – four players and Coach Gary Williams (Comcast Center Auxiliary Gym)

12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Maryland Women’s Basketball Autograph Session – four players and Coach Brenda Frese (Comcast Center Auxiliary Gym)

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. NEW! Cheer The Turtle! – a demonstration by the Spirit Squad (Comcast Center Wrestling Room)

12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Maryland Football Autograph Session – all players and Head Coach Ralph Friedgen (Byrd Stadium Concourse)

1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. NEW! Sports Media Panel – featuring local beat reporters and/or Maryland journalism alums, coaches and/or student-athletes, co-presented by the Phillip Merrill College of Journalism (2203 Art-Sociology)

3:30 p.m. Spring Red/White Game (Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium)
