Students: Believe in a Cause at Maryland?
The Student Philanthropy Committee is now accepting applications for the 2009-2010 school year. All students are welcome to apply. Be an ambassador and help inform other students about the importance of supporting causes important to you at Maryland and the many ways you can give back. BeCause Change Matters
Your change will make a difference! Feed the turtle bank with your loose change and we'll contribute the money to an importance cause selected FOR students, BY students. It's easy. Simply set a goal to raise an amount equivalent to your graduating year (Ex. $20.12) by the end of the semester. Also, feed the bank and we'll feed you. At the end of the semester, drop off your turtle bank during Bank Night and dinner is on us. Stop by Rm. 4146 of the Samuel Riggs IV Alumni Center, Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. to receive a bank. The next bank night is Thursday, Dec. 10. Details about the event will be emailed to all registered participants. For more information, contact Sonia Huntley at shuntley@umd.edu or 301.405.7821.
