Day 1 Depart for Marseille,
France.
Day 2 Upon arrival in Marseille,
transfer to the Grand Hotel Roi Rene in Aix-en-Provence.
Tonight, gather with fellow travelers for a festive welcome
reception.
Day 3 Option Excursion: Tour
Aix-en-Provence and receive an orientation to the city
of kings and counts.
Day 4 Optional Excursion: Explore
Cassis and its Calanques. Visit this picturesque fishing
port and marvel at its natural small coves along the coast.
Day 5 Optional Excursion: Discover
Les Luberon and the Chateau d'Ansouis. Enjoy a private
to ur of the Chateau d'Ansouis in Luberon. Also, visit
other scenic villages of this charming region.
Day 6 Optional Excursion: Visit
the world-famous Arena of Arles. Learn about this historic
arena that dates back to Roman times.
Day 7 Optional Excursion: Journey to Avignon. Marvel at the Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Created shortly before the Christian era, the Pont du Gard is a technical as well as an artistic masterpiece. Visit the Palace of the Popes, one of the largest and most important medieval Gothic buildings in Europe.
