Aired during the Tenth Annual Alumni Association Awards Gala, this video is a short retrospective of the first decade of the signature event. In 2000, the alumni association began a tradition of recognizing outstanding alumni as one united university. This year's gala honored 21 exceptional members of the Maryland family as well as the hundreds of past awardees who provided the foundation for this gala event. With foresight fueled by professional and personal passion, our past awardees set an example for the 2009 recipients to follow.
