Ninth Annual Alumni Association Awards Gala

On Saturday, April 12, 2008, the Maryland family honored and celebrated the achievements of 20 individuals who make a difference at the Ninth Annual Alumni Association Awards Gala. Awards were given by the alumni association and by participating colleges and schools.

This year’s honorees span several generations and represent numerous professions. They are educators and entrepreneurs, scientists, artists and leaders. Their professional achievements, humanitarian efforts and steadfast devotion to Maryland make them worthy ambassadors for the university.
