Recruit a Terp!
|

Together with the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, we have designed
a comprehensive alumni admissions volunteer program in hopes of
creating a meaningful way for you to engage students throughout
the year. If you are interested in becoming a Recruit-a-Terp volunteer
for the 2008-2009 school year, please read below for the responsibilities:
- Dedicate 10-20 hours of your time to prospective student recruitment
during the 2008-2009 academic year
- Review training materials and adhere to all
guidelines based on the admissions professional standards
- Take part in Terp Linkpersonally contact 10-15 accepted students in your area via phone or email during March and/or April (the alumni association will provide contact lists)
- Participate in various regional events throughout the year and provide feedback
to enhance future participation (brief descriptions of the events
are included in the training manual
and volunteers can expect timely notification about upcoming events
in their area)
- Spread Terp enthusiasm across the nation!
