Career Fair/Professional Development Day

April 18, 2013 will be the Alumni Association inaugural Career Fair and Professional Development Day including up to 70 employeers and 7 diverse workshops. Click here to sign up.

5 O'Clock Club

The 5 O'Clock Club has arranged for all Terp alumni to receive a free membership ($49 value) if you sign up on their website. The 5 O'Clock Club has helped thousands of job seekers find employment they love over the past 25 years and has been featured in the national media numerous times. Careers4Terps

A Web-based service providing access to:

• Jobs and internship listings
• On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) program
• Resume books available to employers
• Prospective employers in fields of interest

On-Campus Interviewing (OCI)

Many employers conduct interviews for full-time, part-time and internship positions in the Career Center during the fall and spring semesters. Alumni are eligible to participate in OCI for the first 3 years following their graduation. Visit Careers4Terps for a list of employers having on-campus interviews. (See above for instructions.)

Virtual Mock Interviews

Career Testing/Self Assessment

FOCUS2 is a free Web-based system. Using self-assessment questionnaires, it provides an overview of your interests, values, personality, skills and leisure activities assisting in targeting career options. For more information, visit www.careers.umd.edu/page.cfm?page_id=7§ion_id=2.

UM Counseling Center
