Students with more than 75 credits on their transcripts have passed an important milestone in their academic careers and earned the honor of participating in one of Maryland's newest traditions: the Official Class Ring Program.
A committee of students, alumni, faculty and staff created one ring
for all Maryland alumni, past, present and future — a ring that
captures the spirit of the university through its distinctive features.
Its design will never change.
This is not another piece of jewelry, destined to sit in a box. It is a testament to academic success and allegiance to Alma Mater; it is meant to be worn with pride.
Seventy-five credits, at an average of three per class, amounts to more than 20 courses, 40 exams and nearly as many papers or projects. To make it to this level and beyond as a student at the University of Maryland requires determination and commitment.
If you have gained the right to wear a Maryland ring, congratulations! On this site, you will find everything you need to order yours, today.
Again, congratulations and GO TERPS!
Sincerely,
