In this 30-minute webinar Kelley will address the basics of negotiating a job offer, including when to negotiate, factors to consider, clarifying priorities, and composing an effective counter offer. He’ll discuss the dynamics at play for the employer, the challenges of balancing multiple offers, and the background research necessary for success. He’ll also take questions from webinar participants-- you won't want to miss it!
 
Kelley Bishop joined the University of Maryland in 2013 to oversee the University Career Center which provides comprehensive career development services, programs and resources for 40,000+ enrolled students. The Center’s signature programs include PSYC 123: The Psychology of Getting Hired, an online credit-bearing career course; Intern for a Day, a job shadowing program; and, large-scale and niche-focused career fairs. Kelley’s career spans 30 years and includes leadership roles at Michigan State University, Syracuse University, and Indiana University, as well as involvement in the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the Walt Disney World College Program Advisory Board, and the founding board of the HireBig10Plus Consortium.
