Virtual Event
Join us for an interactive talk and workshop with Life and Wellness Coach, author, and University of Maryland alumna, Marnie McLain.

You'll explore what drives your decisions, and begin to ignite your decision-making superpower that will guide your next steps with ease, especially amid uncertainty and ambiguity. We'll partner together to identify your top 5 values that will serve as your compass. We'll build and solidify new skills, brainstorm actions, and create an accountability plan.

You'll also learn about Marnie's post-graduation story (it includes a lot of metaphorical face-planting) and begin to unpack your relationship with failure. Yes, failure. As a real and unavoidable part of our lives, it can also be a powerful tool when we redefine its role and assume authority over our actions and outcomes.  We'll show you how!

Marnie is a Life and Wellness Coach and author under her brand, Marnie McLain Coaching. Her passion is connecting clients with their why -- the source of truth that lies within -- and unlocking power and ability to make real change in service of their goals. Much of Marnie’s practice is rooted in identifying and building sustainable physical, mental, and emotional best practices. She specializes in helping people through transitions, which can often be the murkiest of times, but yield the most exciting possibilities.

Marnie is a Maryland native (and a University of Maryland grad!), and has been living in Silicon Valley for 5 years with her husband and two dogs, Buddy and Taco. Beyond experimenting with new fitness routines and spending time outside, she enjoys Marie Kondo-ing her apartment and traveling. Marnie is also working on her first book, is a Forbes and Women's Health contributor, and has dreams of owning a little pied-à-terre in Paris, where she survived on bread, cheese, and wine for a year after undergrad.

Marnie is a CPCC certified Life Coach (CTI- in progress), an ACE certified personal trainer, and an ACE certified behavior change specialist. She holds a Masters in Public Policy and a BA in French Language and Literature with minors in Chinese Studies and Vocal Performance.
