The university continues to actively monitor the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19") outbreak and provide regular updates to our community. We all play a role in preventing the spread of COVID-19, and we are taking measures to better protect all Terps. As a result, this event is canceled and may be postponed to a later date.

Virtual programs including webinars, online book clubs, and other online programs will continue as planned.

Influencing others is the key to advancing our ideas and achieving our goals. But what does it take to build strong, meaningful relationships? And how can we come across as warm and authentic?

In this interactive workshop, you will explore research-based strategies that are essential for building trust and gaining "buy-in." Learn how to make a strong first impression, connect with your target audience, and develop an effective pitch for a product or proposal. Through individual and group exercises, you will practice new ways to get others to believe in you and support your ideas. If you're ready to take your influence skills to the next level, this event is for you.

Lunch is included.
