David C. Driskell Center For the Study of Visual Arts and Culture of African Americans and the African Diaspora
1214 Cole Student Activities Bldg.
College Park,

In honor of the 20th anniversary of the inaugural CIVICUS class, the CIVICUS Alumni Network is gathering alumni to reflect on our time in the program and beyond. We hope to rekindle connections from the past 20 years and make new ones as well!

Tickets will cover catering and other minimal costs of hosting the event, thanks to the discounted rental fee from the Driskell Center. Proceeds will also be set aside to help sponsor current students to attend the event free of charge. Any remaining funds will be saved in the CIVICUS Alumni Network account for future CAN events and activities, including donations to the program for student scholarships and other strategic goals. All are welcome, including families and friends.

If you're not able to attend but would like to make a contribution, the CIVICUS Alumni Network's PayPal account can be found using our email address: You may also contact us at that email address for questions or more information on making a donation.

As you may have heard, there are two 20th Anniversary celebrations being planned this fall. To clarify, this event is hosted by the CIVICUS Alumni Network in conjunction with the current program. The event on October 5th is hosted separately by an alum of the program.

We hope to see alums across the years join us for this momentous celebration!
