The university continues to actively monitor the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19") outbreak and provide regular updates to our community. We all play a role in preventing the spread of COVID-19, and we are taking measures to better protect all Terps. As a result, this event is canceled and may be postponed to a later date.

Virtual programs including webinars, online book clubs, and other online programs will continue as planned.

Bonton Farms is an agricultural intervention to restore lives, create jobs, and ignite hope in South Dallas. What started as a small garden in a vacant lot in this little inner-city neighborhood, quickly turned into the City of Dallas’ first urban farm in 2014. In 2016, a local family, the Treffingers, were inspired by the mission of Bonton Farms and generously donated 20 acres of land to Bonton Farms and then purchased an additional 20 acres of land. Bonton Farms is one of the largest urban farms in the Unites States.

Join the DFW Terps Alumni Network as we give back to the community by volunteering at Bonton Farms.
