Gear up with your Alumni Association, fellow alumni, and fans as the Terps take on Penn State!

Join us three hours prior to kickoff for the Friday Night Lights Tailgate. Enjoy food, drinks, popcorn and pre-game coverage at the Riggs Alumni Center. Food will be available for purchase. Be sure to register below and check-in with us when you arrive for a chance to win prizes like Maryland Athletics game tickets, Terp swag as well as food and drink vouchers!

Our Friday Night Lights Tailgate is just the fun you need before cheering on your Terps at Maryland Stadium. Make sure to visit the Friday Night Lights site for more specific information regarding parking, gate open times, etc. Please Note: Parking is not included with your registration for this event. Campus parking is currently sold out for this game. Please continue to check the University of Maryland Transportation Services website for updates on off-campus parking locations and shuttle routes.


Alumni Zone Open Houses and Alumni Zone Tailgates are free to attend with *food and beverages available for purchase.

*Note: The Capital One Field at Maryland Stadium Bag Policy is as follows - 
Fans will only be able to carry the following style and size bags into the stadium all of which are subject to search:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12"
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
  • Small clutch bags, measuring 4.5” x 6.5” with or without a handle or strap

All other bags will not be permitted. A list of prohibited bags includes, but is not limited to: purses, backpacks, drawstring bags that are not clear, briefcases, coolers, fanny packs, luggage, computer bags, camera bags, binocular cases and diaper bags. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. The University of Maryland cannot safeguard items that are not permitted into the stadium.
