Since the end of the Great Recession in June 2009, the U.S. has enjoyed 41 quarters of economic expansion. Since the depth of the stock market decline of March 2009, the value of the S&P 500 has nearly tripled. According to the latest jobs report, the unemployment rate has declined to 3.5 percent, the lowest in 50 years. It has been said: "In many ways this is the greatest economy in the HISTORY of America."

Join us for the next installment of our Be Informed: Lectures and Libations series, where you'll hear from our guest presenter, Dr. Douglas Meade, Director of Inforum. Doug will review the current state of the U.S. economy, and provide food for thinking on where the economy is heading.

The talk will be non-technical and we welcome questions! Appetizers will be provided.
