The university continues to actively monitor the novel coronavirus ("COVID-19") outbreak and provide regular updates to our community. We all play a role in preventing the spread of COVID-19, and we are taking measures to better protect all Terps. As a result, this event is canceled and may be postponed to a later date.

Virtual programs including webinars, online book clubs, and other online programs will continue as planned.

Terps in Northern Virginia will "Do Good" during the month of April by helping at Community Residences (CRi) in Arlington, VA. CRi is community-based nonprofit organization with a focus on providing personalized resources to people with developmental disabilities & mental health needs. CRi believes in serving people within the communities in which they live, and has done so for 45 years. Volunteers will be at a local home that serves CRi individuals, and activities will include building benches for their yard, preparing dinner and making sensory objects.

This project is recommended for ages 13 and up; signups are limited to 25 people.

This event is a partnership between the Northern Virginia Alumni Network and the Engineering Alumni Network.
