Calling all Terp Engineers! Join us at AECOM in Baltimore, MD on Friday, November 2nd from 8-9:30am for breakfast, networking, and a dynamic conversation surrounding travel behavior and AI given by triple Terp and UMD civil and environmental engineering faculty member Dr. Chenfeng Xiong ’11, ’13, ’15.

Dr. Xiong’s research with the Maryland Transportation Institute encompasses developing person-based and online artificial intelligence tools to accurately predict transportation engineering; including travel behavior, traffic conditions, and impacts on congestion, energy, and the environment. In this conversation, he’ll discuss the ways in which AI tools are integrated with incentive models to build and advance travel management systems which will re-shape the future landscape of travel.

This event is designed for alumni in engineering fields and those with a genuine interest in AI and behavioral patterns. Dress is business casual. Bring business cards and meet like-minded Terps in the Baltimore community!

This event is cohosted by the A. James Clark School of Engineering and AECOM of Baltimore.
