Join Montgomery County Terps for a morning of service at A Wider Circle. We will be participating in the Neighbor-to-Neighbor program. This program focuses on providing basic need items for the home to people seeking to rise out of poverty. The donations we receive include household furniture, linens, kitchen items and toys. The volunteer group will help us sort donations, restock showrooms, and assist clients as they are selecting items to take home.

Parking & Directions
We use a first come, first serve system with very limited on-site parking. The only on-site parking is in front of our Professional Development Center (along the retaining wall, facing Brookville Road.)

If there is no available on-site parking, the best place to park is in the neighborhood near the Woodlin Elementary school. You can park anywhere along Luzerne Ave., Louis St., Louis Ave. Glen Ross Rd. and you will be within a block or two of our facility. Please walk up the short path along Warren street to our facility. You will see A Wider Circle on the left and the Woodlin Elementary parking lot on the right.

Please avoid parking in front of 2201 and 2203 Luzerne Avenue and 9110 Warren St. On the weekends and holidays, we encourage volunteers to park in the Woodlin Elementary School main parking lot.

GPS use: Woodlin Elementary School

To serve clients with dignity, we ask all volunteers to dress ready to work in t-shirts (shoulders covered – no tank tops) and sturdy, closed toed shoes. (Sneakers are fine). The temperature in our facility is like the temperature outside. Please dress for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle!
