**Due to the overwhelming response we have received for this event, online registration is now closed. We will be accepting on-site registrations at the event - we hope to see you there!

Join us for our annual Homecoming Tailgate and watch as we transform Moxley Garden into a Terp Homecoming Beer Garden. Come take a stroll in the garden and explore three Terp-owned breweries and a Terp-owned winery while enjoying music, food, games and a festive atmosphere before heading into the stadium to watch your Terps take on Indiana!

Check-in & Beer Mugs
Please visit the registration tables located in the Riggs Alumni Center Rotunda to check-in before entering Moxley Gardens. You will receive your beer mug, after proof of identification. Then you can head into the gardens for music, fun, food and beer! Please note that there is a limited supply of beer mugs, which will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Homecoming Food Drive
Join us in our efforts to provide food to those in need in our own community, in addition to those affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria. This year, the Alumni Association and the Office of Community Engagement are teaming up with Food Recovery Network and The #GiveHealthy Movement to fill Homecoming with Terp spirit and community spirit.

Beginning September 27 and ending at the Terp Homecoming Game on October 28th, we are calling on the UMD and College Park communities to lend a hand to those in need by participating in this virtual food drive to provide fresh produce to our neighbors both in Prince George’s county who experience food insecurity and to our neighbors in disaster-struck locations. Learn more and get involved!

We're also having a phyiscal food drive at our Homecoming Tailgate. Please consider bringing some of the most-needed items to donate to the Food Recovery Network:

  • Apples
  • Bananas
  • Oranges
  • Pears
  • Melons
  • Grapefruit
  • Grapes
  • Clementines
  • Strawberries
  • Pineapple

Our Terp-owned beverage vendors will be selling $5 pours. Concessions will be on-hand selling $10 -12 platters and a la carte items.
