Do you have questions about the Middle East Conflict but you don’t know what to ask? Join us on your lunch break for a speed overview of the history of the Jewish and Arab communities, from Ancient Israel to 1948. Professor Scham, UMD Research Associate Professor and Executive Director of the Gildenhorn Institute on Israel Studies, will briefly discuss the landmark historical and socio-political events that have given rise to the current state of affairs. After the remarks, join in on the discussion or ask your questions for Professor Scham. **This is the first in a two-part series, but each program is open and folks are welcome to attend one or both programs.

Sign up for Part 2 on Aug 5 as well!
