Nova Terps Board Spotlight - Sanjay Tolani
By Steve Glickman
Up next from your NOVA Terps Board: Sanjay Tolani, Vice President
Sanjay Tolani ‘94 is a Double Terp, earning an undergraduate degree in Finance in 1994 and an MBA in 2001. Van Munching Hall was built during Sanjay’s Junior year, and he loved studying and hanging out in the state-of-the-art business school building. Cole Field House, Santa Fe (closed in 2007), and Cluck U Chicken (closed in 2019) also topped the list of Sanjay’s favorite spots around College Park.
To stay connected to his UMD roots, Sanjay joined The Terrapin Club and was a proud basketball season ticket holder from 2002-2011. The following decade flew by for Sanjay as he was building his career, raising three children and coaching their youth soccer and basketball teams. But he leaned back in last year, joining the NOVA Terps Alumni Board as Member-at-Large and now Vice President. “I have enjoyed leading, participating, volunteering, networking, and gathering for NOVA Terps events”, Sanjay shared. The upcoming year promises a full calendar of events including ice cream socials, game watches, soccer matches, and professional development opportunities.
