Information about the Terps Under 30 event

Join the University of Maryland Alumni Association and the Student Alumni Leadership Council for our annual award-winning event, Terps Under 30. 

This is a signature event designed to allow current students and alums to connect, network and share how they are moving Fearlessly Forward. Through a TED talk-style program, this event features short talks from young alum speakers and an opportunity for Q&A from the audience. Additionally, this event will recognize the 2024 Rising Terp Award recipients and give attendees the opportunity to meet members of the Terrapin Club's 30 Under 30 Class of 2024. 

This event will include heavy appetizers and mocktails, beer and wine for attendees, and is open to the entire University of Maryland community. Registration is required in order to attend.

The Rising Terp Award honors an alumnus/a under 30 years old who has distinguished themselves personally and professionally. Up to three Rising Terp Awards will be granted, celebrating a Terp/s who excel in their career and inspire the next generation of Terp leaders.
