Support the University of Maryland by giving back.

Terps make an impact when they give back.
And what easier way to make a difference than through workplace giving?

There’s a reason Maryland alums stay connected to their alma mater for life. The University of Maryland isn’t just a stop along the way—it’s a community, a launching pad, and a lifelong source of pride. Giving back to the place that helped shape your journey is easier than ever through workplace giving.

Chances are, your company has a giving platform. Many employers will even match your donation—doubling your impact. Some also recognize your volunteer time by contributing to the nonprofit organizations you serve. Find out if your company offers a matching gift or volunteer grant program, and help support the next generation of Terps.

Represent your company by joining the Alumni Association and connecting with other Terps.

Participate in company-hosted Days of Service with fellow Terps. Organize events like volunteering to review resumes for current students or hosting on-campus mock interviews to give back to the community. Learn more about Do Good Month.

In today’s fast-paced work environment, it’s easy to focus on the to-do list and overlook the value of community, but strong connections are at the heart of a thriving workplace. Our alumni corporate networks build bonds through mentorship, fellowship and meaningful professional relationships.

"It has been a privilege and joy to serve as the Vice President of the NGTerps Alumni Chapter. Carrying the enthusiasm, warmth, and talent of our UMD community into the workplace has been fulfilling (and also a ton of fun!) This alumni chapter has helped build community, foster mentorship, and connect Terps at both a professional and personal level, and I can't wait to see how it continues to grow!"
