Do I have to be a member of Terrapins Connect to view the job board?
Yes. But don't worry, signing up is easy and free! Just head to terrapinsconnect.umd.edu and you can sign up within minutes. Save time by signing in with your LinkedIn account.
What jobs get approved?
Jobs that are legitimate, alumni-only jobs will be approved. No jobs for only students will be approved, including internships. Internships will only be considered if offered to alumni.
How long does it take for my job to be approved once submitted for posting?
Jobs will be approved within 24-48 hours Monday through Friday.
Can I reach out to the person who posted the job?
Yes! We encourage you to. Job posters are looking to be connected to Terps, so don't be shy.
What does it mean when it says posted from Symplicity or WayUp?
Great question! We work with our campus partners to bring you even more opportunities, so when you see jobs posted by Symplicity or WayUp, it means the role has been pulled from trusted partner websites. Positions not listed by WayUp or Symplicity have been posted by Terps on the platform.
