There’s something special about fall and the traditions it brings. At the University of Maryland Alumni Association, fall is one of our favorite times of year. It’s an opportunity for Terps to gather and celebrate our shared pride, lifelong connections and the spirit that unites us.

September
We kick off the season with Terps on the Hill on Sept. 15, bringing together alums and Maryland representatives for an evening of connection and conversation in our nation's capital.
October
October is packed with opportunities to gather and celebrate Maryland traditions.
Join us on Oct. 10 for The Art of Gathering: A Terp Women's Tea, then head back to College Park for UMD alumni weekend activities at Homecoming from Oct. 14-17, featuring favorites like the SEE Comedy Show and Terp Carnival. Before cheering on the Terps as they take on the Rutgers Scarlet Knights, stop by the Annual Alumni Homecoming Tailgate & Beer Garden to reconnect with friends, meet fellow alums and soak in the game-day atmosphere.
Prior to the Homecoming tailgate, new lifetime members will gather for the Lifetime Member Wall Dedication and Unveiling Ceremony, where we will unveil their names on the new section of the wall on Campus Drive plus celebrate its namesakes, Frann G & Eric S. Francis.
November
As the temperatures start to lower in Maryland, we are taking Terp pride on the road with Terps Takeover LA on Nov. 20. Whether you live in Southern California or are traveling to watch Maryland football take on USC, show up and show out for an Alumni Tailgate on Nov. 21. Don’t miss this chance to bring Maryland pride to the West Coast.
December
We'll wrap up the year with one of our most cherished traditions: the Annual Holiday Party. This year’s festivities will herald the holiday season on Dec. 12 at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History in Washington, D.C. Mingle with fellow Terps in a festive setting and toast to another memorable year together.
However you choose to engage, we hope you'll join us this fall to reconnect with fellow Terps and celebrate all that makes our community so special.
