Trivia Answer: B. Anne Turkos.

Anne Turkos began her career in the University of Maryland Libraries as Assistant Curator of Archives and Manuscripts in January 1985 and was promoted to University Archivist in September 1993. During her tenure as University Archivist, Anne doubled the size of the holdings of the Archives. Anne also established the Terp for Life Fund to support the University Archives and led fundraising efforts to preserve historical Terrapin football and men’s basketball footage and to digitize The Diamondback. And, according to this article, she wore turtle jewelry every day and had a collection of more than 600 turtles in her Hornbake Library office and at home, ranging from a Terp-shaped whiskey decanter to foam turtle helmets of varying sizes and weights.
