Get ready to mark your calendar. The University of Maryland Alumni Association is kicking off Spring 2026 with a full slate of events that bring Terps together for professional growth, celebration, and community — on campus and across the country. Whether you’re looking to expand your network or simply reconnect, there’s something for every Terp.

Career Resources

This spring, invest in what’s next. Professional Development Month (events throughout February) offers powerful career-focused opportunities whether you’re sharpening your skills, expanding your network or exploring a new path. Signature events include a Student & Alum Industry Dinner and Reception (Feb. 4), Career Fair (Feb. 11), a TED talk-style program and networking reception called Maryland Minds: Shaping the Future of AI (Feb. 17), and National Networking Night (Feb. 24).

Beyond February, we’re bringing back the EnTERPreneur Conference (March 6), Women’s Mentorship Program (March 23 - April 30), and the new Terp Academy (June 6) — programs that are designed to help Terps grow, pivot, and lead at every career stage.

Celebrations

Spring is also a time to celebrate together. From dancing the night away to joyful reunions, our spring celebrations invite Terps to reconnect, reminisce and make new memories. Mark your calendars for the Shell-ebrate Love: Valentine’s Dance (Feb. 13), Black Alumni Weekend (April 12-14), and the Kickoff to Summer Celebration (June 6).

Maryland is Coming to a Town Near You

Can’t make it back to College Park? Good thing Terp spirit travels well! This spring, we’re bringing Terp pride to cities near you. Connect with alums at regional gatherings like the Sarasota Crabfeast at Orioles Training Camp (Feb. 28) and Maryland in Manhattan (June) — perfect opportunities to meet fellow Terps close to home.

Annual Events

Spring wouldn’t be complete without our most beloved traditions. From the Terp Book Fair and Member Breakfast on Maryland Day (April 25) and celebrating Terps Under 30 honorees (April 7), to welcoming the Class of 2026 at Grad Bash (May), these signature events bring the community together year after year.

However you choose to engage, we hope you’ll join us this spring to reconnect with fellow Terps and celebrate all that makes our community so special. Keep an eye out for event updates and registration details — plus, check out the events calendar for upcoming alumni network hosted events. From game watches to trivia nights, from right here in the DMV to across the nation.

We'll see you soon.
