Members have access to purchase a membership, which includes access to all University Recreation & Wellness facilities and programs. University of Maryland College Park Libraries

UMD Alumni Association members are eligible for a 50% discount on membership in the University Libraries’ Community Borrowers program. For a $25 (usually $50) annual fee, Community Borrowers may check out up to 25 books at a time from University Libraries. Learn more.

University of Maryland Golf Course

Lifetime Members receive a $50 range card to be used at the University of Maryland Driving Range. All members receive a 10% discount on all Terrapin logo apparel at the Golf Course Pro Shop. Terp Young Scholars offers high school students the opportunity to experience the challenge, excitement and independence of campus life at UMD. In Terp Scholars, high school students learn from distinguished faculty, explore new academic fields, live and work with equally talented peers and earn three university credits.

How to redeem: After receiving acceptance to Terp Young Scholars, UMD Alumni Association Members should send an email to tys@umd.edu including the name of the student and their UID (found on their acceptance letter) and the UMD Alumni Association Member name and Alumni #.

Hearing and Speech Clinic

Members receive discounts for services in the Hearing & Speech Clinic located in LeFrak Hall. Services include hearing evaluations and consultations, as well as speech and language assessments for members and their families. We provide services to all ages. Initial visits are discounted at 35% off and members receive the UMD faculty discount (20%) for each visit thereafter. Learn more.
