Going from model, to mom, to entrepreneur, Aliya Thomas ’97 knows the importance of a powerful wardrobe. Spending 20+ years in a “non-inclusive fashion industry,” she has first-hand experience enduring the challenges women face to build their personal brand and lead empowered lives.

Coming from a family of Terps, Gabriela Winter ‘22 is serving as the Student Alumni Leadership Council’s (SALC) 2021 president. 

This class of 2020 alumna did not take a direct path in earning multiple degrees. She went on to earn a Ph.D. while prioritizing her family life.
