Dr. Rocky Lopes ’80 established the Dr. Rocky Lopes ’80 Student Alumni Leadership Council Founders Award in July 2022 to recognize a duly elected president of the Student Alumni Leadership Council (SALC) who has graduated or will imminently graduate with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland, as well as Three-Year Membership Awards for graduating SALC Vice Presidents.
