With the many University of Maryland Alumni Association affinity groups, the large presence of Jewish students who have and continue to attend the university, and the strong and vibrant Hillel community, who would imagine that until 2020 there was not a Jewish alumni group in place? 

This class of 2020 alumna did not take a direct path in earning multiple degrees. She went on to earn a Ph.D. while prioritizing her family life.

Do you remember what it felt like the first day of school after summer vacation? Although the physical place might not have changed since you were there, it may have felt like a combination of the familiar and unfamiliar at the same time. It may have been a new classroom, a new teacher, new classmates or perhaps some friends changed schools or moved to new places.
