Maryland Alumni Association Scholarships
The Maryland Alumni Association is committed to supporting excellence by providing scholarship opportunities. The alumni association will provide 15 scholarships; 10 undergraduate students will each receive $2000 and 5 graduate students will each receive $3,000. In addition to a minimum 3.0 GPA for undergraduates and 3.0 GPA for graduate students, ideal applicants will volunteer in their communities or on campus, participate in extracurricular activities and write a compelling essay on building Terrapin spirit among the student body. Col. J. Logan Schutz Legacy Scholarship
Congratulations to Brogan Murphy ‘14, recipient of the 2013 Col. J. Logan Schutz Legacy Scholarship. The scholarship is made possible thanks to a generous gift from Col. J. Logan Schutz '38, '40, past executive director and director emeritus of the Maryland Alumni Association. It is presented annually to a student with at least 56 credit hours (Junior status) attending the University of Maryland, College Park who is also a legacy student.
