Annual Alumni Holiday Party
Join us for our Annual Holiday Party, an unforgettable evening within the historic National Portrait Gallery. Surrounded by timeless architecture, you’ll step into a festive atmosphere where tradition meets modern holiday cheer.
Begin your night with a stroll through the Downtown DC Holiday Market, located right outside the Gallery’s F street entrance. This twinkling, open-air market is a great way to soak in some holiday magic before heading into the party.
Indulge in a spread of seasonal culinary delights and delicious sweet treats and don’t miss our two signature holiday cocktails, in addition to a beer and wine open bar.
Your registration includes all food, beverages, live DJ and entertainment, so come ready to celebrate, connect, and create memories with your fellow Terps!

Transportation & Parking
Via Metro: Take the Yellow, Green, or Red lines to the Gallery Place/Chinatown Metro station. The Portrait Gallery is one block from both the 7th and 9th Street Metro exits.
If you choose to drive, there is limited street parking. The closest parking garages are 901 F Street NW and the Victim Building at 925 H Street NW, both just a 1-2 minute walk away.
Other close options include garages at 505 9th St. NW and 700 F St. NW (Techworld Garage). Handicapped parking is available at red-topped meters on the F, G, and 7th Street sides of the building.
Do not drink and drive—we encourage everyone to consider using public transportation or rideshare services. We will provide a discount UBER code to registered attendees 48 hours prior to the event.
Refund Policy
Ticket refunds are not available for this event. However, as a special benefit, Alumni Association members may receive a refund up to 10 days prior to the event date.
