Help us support the Alumni Association Student Engagement Fund to elevate the next generation of Terps. The Student Engagement Fun provides Terps with many opportunities, from professional growth, to boosting school spirit through the M Book, to speaking with university leaders or presenting their bright ideas at national conferences. - WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH - March
A nationally recognized celebration throughout March, Women's History Month originated in 1981 when Congress authorized and requested President Ronald Reagan to proclaim a Women’s History Week. The week selected in March coincided with the anniversary of an 1857 strike for better pay and working conditions held by women working in a garment factory in New York City. This year’s celebration of Women’s History Month with the University of Maryland Alumni Association will include several events brought to you by academic, regional and affinity alumni networks. - HOME 101 - March 22-29
You've been stuck in your home for a year now. It's time to give back to the place that has given you so much. Through this series of events, you will learn from home experts about enhancing your outdoor and indoor spaces, discover ways to make your home more sustainable and safe with the use of smart (and simple) technologies, get insights on remodeling, home renovations and more. This series is virtual, free, and open to all alumni, no matter where you live (or what you live in!). Whether you are a current homeowner or hope to be one someday, you will find something helpful to use along the way. REGISTER

In honor of Jeanette Epps (M.S. ‘94, Ph.D. ‘00), Terp alumna and first African-American woman to join an International Space Station Crew (2021), the Women in Engineering Program in the A. James Clark School of Engineering is partnering with the Department of Aerospace Engineering and the Center for Minorities in Science in Engineering to present the WIE Run the World 93 Minute Virtual Movement Challenge during Women's Histoy Month in March.
